Our History

Arborview Realty Inc was founded under the umbrella of The Arborview Companies by Paul Iantosca in 1980. At the same time, Pleasant Realty Inc. was also founded by Paul with a specific focus on real estate brokerage and rentals. Both companies were in the same building at 709 Centre Street in Jamaica Plain and provided all the real estate needs of their customers.

Pleasant Realty

Arborview Development Corp. and Pleasent Realty became known as a source of expertise for real estate matters. More and more families came to Pleasant Realty for the purchase, sale and rental of their homes and, by 1988, it grew to be the largest independent real estate firm in the area with 30 brokers.

One Umbrella

The year 1990 was an important milestone in the history of the Arborview Companies. With an aim to re-focus on providing the strongest customer service experience possible, Paul sold Pleasent Realty and turned his entire focus to The Arborview Companies. It was a more boutique style company that also included Arborview Realty Inc. for sales and rentals. Today, the three divisions - Realty, Management and Restorations - operate under one umbrella of the Arborview Companies. We continue to grow out of the second floor at 709 Centre Street, right in the heart of Jamaica Plain.
